I grew up in springfield and have thus grown up eating at Canton Inn. I can now not eat any other cashew chicken anywhere. whenever my siblings and i are home and we pass threw, stopping at canton inn is a must. We especially love their eggrolls!

The food there is so bland there is hardly any flavor, it is not worth the money you save by eating there to sacrifice taste. The food can only be compared to eating hospital food, how they ended up in the top 100 restaurants bogles the mind because you couldn't taste it in the food I ate.?

This place is nothing more than a hole in the wall, however, the food is amazing. Service is quick and the specials are amazing. You cannot beat the sweet and sour chicken or cashew chicken for $3.95! A must try if you have never had it!?

I've had lunch here several times. It's quick and reasonable. They offer the standard Cashew or Sweet and Sour Chicken for which Springfield Asian restaurants are famous. It was voted best in it's class a few years in a row and is still very ...?

I have been all over the Northern Hemisphere and the General Tso's Chicken Extra Spicy that I got at Canton Inn in Springfield, MO is the best no contest. It basically ruined me for every other Chinese Restaurant's General Tso's Chicken. Every time I get General Tso's Chicken at another Chinese restaurant I get homesick for some good Chinese food. My favorite is the Extra Spicy General Tso's Chicken, it's good without the extra spicy but the extra spicy promotes it ahead of it peers into the extraordinary. It should be promoted to the Commandant of the Marine Corps' Chicken. Hehehe.?

Great place to eat, especially for lunch. It's usually very crowded so the waiting can be just tad bit long, nonetheless, it's worth the wait. Try to avoid the rowdy customers once in a while who try to make a scene. The crab rangoons are good, not very sweet like the other places, but still filling. You can order the Combo meal with Cashew or Sweet and Sour Chicken with rice, egg rolls, and wontons but you can get substitute the rice with wontons or vice versa.?
