I once went to a TK Noodle place and left immediately after seeing how dirty and smelly it was. My image of TK Noodle was tarnished after that, but this one is the best. My mom took me here, and I was pleasantly surprised. The bot chien was A++ and I love their Thai Tea! Don't order pearls though, their pearls are absolutely disgusting. My little sisters and mom really like this place too.

+ Good if you're looking for a quick meal+ Cheap prices (around $5-$6) for a large portion of food+ Pay for your meal at the counter- Small place- Not good for groups more than 4Got the combination crispy noodles. I didn't like the type of noodles they used -- a lot more thin and had this darker brown color to them. Basically just over crisped and dried out and didn't look very appealing. The sauce didn't have enough flavor to it. I'd consider going to New Tung Kee Noodle on the north side of campus. I like the noodles much better there.

What happened to this place!!! My favorite chow fun, fried rice & half rice noodle & ramen noodle soups sucked. I don't see any Asian eating there anymore. I know the one in Milpitas Square closed long time ago. Skip this place. Rather eat @ home or somewhere better!!!

Can't say much about this place, not from the one time I've been there. They have a good noodle soup, with Chiu-Jow style noodles. The wait was minimal and food came out in good time. I think it's a great place for a cold night and the clientele seem like they all enjoyed their food. Bring cash and seat yourself on the way in. They also have a parking lot, which makes it a plus if you're circling around downtown.

One of the original Tung Kee Noodle Houses & one of the best. I loved their hieu tieu xao, mi xao giong (crunchy noodles? in English I think) & bot chien! Those three keep me coming back, I usually order to-go but the food is good. Parking is slightly limited but I'm sure you're still able to find a spot somewhere. And for college students looking for a bite to eat, its a good place for fast, chinese/vietnamese noodles or food!

Awkward but good.My favorite chain of noodles in SJ, this one is quiet but often full of diversity making it less awkward for us not Viet speaking Viets.Good price. The workers are used to those who don't speak English but often get confused with special orders.Good food, good price, cash only, but they have an ATM.

Good noodles for a good price. They've been skimping on the quantity of ingredients (ie. 2 shrimps instead of 3, 3 chicken slices instead of 5, etc.), but still a good bargain. The discerning regular will note that there is a private parking lot in the back, despite Yelp saying there's only street parking.

"TK" stands for Tung Kee noodles. Um, tell me that doesn't sound like DONKEY NOODLES?!?!?!? (Ok I digress. I just thought it was funny. I swear, I thought my boyfriend kept telling me he wanted me to try donkey noodles.)I'm picky about noodle soup and I think it's partly because I'm not Chinese. I feel like Chinese folks love their noodle soup (don't get me wrong -- I love Italian pastas and Korean noodles). I thought their meat pieces were weird. The gray-colored meatballs were weird. Now, the soup base itself was pretty ok. But the noodles were waaaaay over cooked, and like I said, the meat pieces were weird. It's cheap. It's fast. In a super shady neighborhood.Would I come back? Nope. Not on my own volition, but I'm sure my boyfriend will drag me and our future kids here to show off where daddy used to eat noodles as a kid and get a haircut. *Sigh* (My kids will also think I'm feeding them donkey noodles, I'm sure.)

I really love TK noodles and it's chain restaurants.I always get the noodle soup with ho fun and egg noodle! Yum...beef stew is good too! This location has $1 Thai tea's!The jalapeño jar wasn't perserved in vinegar so it didn't taste good. The waiter was nice but he was really lazy. I asked him for another Thai tea and he just sighed and frowned and went to go get one, not exactly friendly like a waiter should be, especially when you ask for a simple order..

I try not to eat out too often, but if I'm feeling too lazy to cook, or just need to cheer up from a bad day. This is my go to place. Prices are really good. The food is delicious. I probably come here around 2-4 times a month. I've been to a couple other of the TK noodles, but the broth here is absolutely the best. After a bowl of chicken broth soup, I have a huge smile on my face and I'm just completely satisfied.Last time I ate here. I was telling myself man I have to go yelp this and give it 5 stars, it was that good. I've been here probably 100 times, and it's just excellent.

I LOVE this place. I grew up eating at and from this tk noodle resturaunt. I memorized my favorite soup it's #6. After early morning Sunday church, my dad would go to this place to order breakfast. From what I heard, this place is the original tk noodle resturaunt. My dad would have me and my older sister order to go and one of the waiter that we see often is my dad's friend. He ALWAYS gives us a smile when he takes our order. I think you pay cash only, which is down one star, but you will never get the best tk noodle then the original place. The atmosphere of this resturaunt is homie.I don't live in SJ currently and I substitute other franchised tk noodles now and then to satisfy my cravings, but the other tk noodles lack the hostpitality that this tk noodle have.If you want real tk noodle come to this location. You'll wont be disappointed!

Perhaps it was the days in high school when my friends and I would mob it to this spot after chilling at TapEx, at the Monterrey Rd. location, that bring me to occasionally crave the food from here. Lucky for me there's a TK in downtown where I live. I know not every location has the same quality of food, but this one is probably one of the better ones in my opinion. The combination over rice is always my go-to item. Super convenient location for the SJSU crowd. Not sure if it's still cash only.

After 10 years, I came back to visit San Jose. The first place I wanted to eat at? TK Noodle. Did it meet the standards from back in the day? Definitely not.The service was awful! My mother ordered a dish and asked to add shrimp. Simple right? Well, our waitress walks into the kitchen to place our order, normal stuff. While we're waiting, we hear the cook or whoever it was in the kitchen yelling (in Vietnamese) about how complicated the order was. Obviously, none of us wanted to point out the screaming because we didn't want spit in our food, but that was extremely rude and upsetting. And on top of the cook screaming her complaints, our order was all wrong. Way to go.The food just isn't as good as before. Then again, it was 10 years since. But hey, the food is still pretty cheap, so I guess I can't complain too much.
