Been here twice now and both times were great. For a vegetarian they have five fake chicken options which is awesome. Their food is cheap and fast when you're their. I'm sure there is probably better Chinese food in the city, but there is no reason not to give this one a try. So good.

Yay for being open late! Ordered the green beans, orange chicken, and mongolian? beef. Got white rice and fried rice. Could not help but devour the green beans and fried rice. The beef was good. Orange chicken was too much on the sweet side. However, I'd have to say the actual quality of the food was 5 star. Very fair quality of food to price ratio.

Yum Yum was my go-to spot when I lived a couple of blocks away from their old Mission location. Now we've both moved. This is YY's new location but they brought their delicious food with them. As always, generous portions on the rice dishes and delicious war won ton soup. A good selection of spicy dishes for those who like hot food. The service is always quick and prompt and the location is clean and freshly painted.Parking is tough on nearby streets

FAST, PIPING HOT DELIVERY! First time here. Food was good, especially the mu shu pork. It arrived when they said it would and was really affordable. It was really hot temperature wise which is not always the case with delivery so that was impressive. HUGE portions. I had 2 medium sized portions and I had only made a small dent in the container. Dishes do not come in standard folded boxes, they come in full huge square containers. Would definitely recommend!

I came here twice. The first time, the food was pretty bland. I got the spare ribs, chicken wings, and mongolian beef. While the food was edible, it wasn't very spectacular. The second time, I ordered the kung pao chicken fried rice and honey walnut shrimp. This time, the food was surprisingly tasty.I suggest going around lunch time to get the lunch special. Otherwise, the dinner prices can add up especially if you order a rice dish and a meat dish and a vegetable dish.

Yum Yum is my favorite Chinese delivery spot. Ordering by phone is always friendly yet efficient - I tend to get a kick out of the main guy who usually answers as he sounds like a pro in following his script. On top of that, the delivery time is usually very quick. The food is consistently good as well and the portions are always large enough for leftovers. One of my favorite dishes, salt & pepper cod isn't on any of the menus I've seen, but you can definitely ask for it and customize your spice level (go with very spicy).Overall, Yum Yum is a solid delivery option for Chinese food.

We usually get it delivered and they are pretty quick about it.THE FOOD-spicy, salty, fried pork = good (MSG galore tho!)-walnut prawns = good-garlic eggplant = our favorite!-pork chow mein = meh-chicken fried rice = okay-mongolian beef = good-tofu mushrooms = love the black mushroom but the tofu tasted sour. Lots of green peas and water chestnuts
Need delivery for your first night in a new apartment? Yum Yum Hunan is your place. Tylical chinese menu selections, but executed well. The spicy fried rice and lo mein hit the spot and weren't too greasy.

Eh, I can't really knock this place too bad. But San Francisco I am surprised other reviewers call this excellent. I ate here a couple times because it was convenience with good reviews. But while nothing was bad and I would rank this Yum Yum better than "food court" Chinese, however the dishes I had were bland and greasy. Service was acceptable, but fairly unremarkable.

When I first called to order I thought, wow he didn't ask me for my name, my phone number or how to get in the building?! Anyway, delivery came pretty quick, my phone says I called around 1:43, they called me at 2:03.. not bad. apparently they found my number on the caller ID. and when I came outside to pay the guy was already outside of my part of the building, I wondered how he was able to get in... weird!!I ordered chicken chowmein, and chicken fried rice.. shared with my toddler and I. like all kids, he loves the noodles!! anything pasta, he'll eat, and ask for more..and for me I'll give the chowmein a 6.5 out of 10.. it's good. the rice, the same. it's edible. not the best out there, but good.. regular steamed rice, fried with soy sauce from what I can see.. chicken, eggs, peas, carrots, and onion..so overal, I'd say a 6/10 experience with them.. I'm sure If I were drunk it'd be the best ever... lol.but I like it, big noodles.. and big chunks of chicken in the rice :)we'll probably order from here again.and my total, was $15.50.and now full, finished eating. and theres still enough for at least 2 or 3 people!!! I told them medium, but I doubt it, the sizes look like there's one size only.. I can't eat anymore.. so if you order, make sure to be specific, and say Over Rice, make it as one. because they will send you TWO boxes, one chowmein, and once fried rice. we have left overs for tomorrows lunch and dinner! lol.

OMG DISGUSTING.Our most recent delivery was for dinner. Way too many things went wrong. First, instead of giving us the brown rice we ordered they gave us long grain BASMATI rice (if you are not familiar it's the rice served at INDIAN RESTAURANTS). Not even the short grain white asian rice that is served at Chinese restaurants, but Basmati?! Very weird but not a HUGE deal, so we started eating. We should have know that was only the beginning.About halfway through our meal we felt little tiny rocks between our molars as we chewing the veggies and meatless chicken entrees. First I felt it then my husband a few bites later. While we started removing several hard round pieces of inedible clearish rock-y material from our general tsao, orange, and mandarin chicken entrees I also found a short black hair!! I felt sick.Needless to say we stopped eating immediately and threw everything in the trash. We called YYH the very next morning to report the disgusting discovery. He told us to bring the food in and I told him we disposed of it the night prior and we politely requested a refund and he hung up on us mid-convo! So we called back, again he started yelling in chinese (?) and hung-up. We politely called back a third time and notified him that we were going to contact the SF Health Dept right away as well as giving them a poor rating on yelp. .There are trillions of Chinese Restaurants in SF for you to choose from, avoid Yum Yum if you can. And there are wonderful Vegetarian Chinese restaurants with clean, organic, MSG-free options where they respect the food they make the people they serve: Enjoy Vegetarian & Loving Hut, to name a few. Please please please please DO NOT support businesses like Yum Yum Hunan.

This is actually the best delivery Chinese food we've gotten in San Francisco. They were easy to order from (and do have the buy 3 entrees, get a free chow mein or fried rice deal on), and we could substtute a couple of items in the appetizer combo and get cashew chicken for dinner, even though it was only on the lunch menu. While I don't agree with the reviews that say the food is not greasy, I will say there are a lot more vegetables than are commonly found in delivery Chinese food here, which is great. The cashew chicken had plenty of broccoli, zucchini, and other vegetables scattered throughout. The mongolian beef was probably my least favorite - the beef was flavored all right with pepper, but the meat itself was not the best quality. The mu shu pork was quite nice with a good mix of julienned vegetables. The vegetable eggrolls arrived still surprisingly crisp, and the crab rangoon was more flavorful than I would have expected due to chives in the mix. The pot stickers were definitely the worst part of the whole meal - they weren't seared very well and the interior was a sodden mess. But otherwise, everything was quite good - I'd order from here again.

My go to Chinese place to order delivery from.Seriously, the general's chicken and the five flavor chicken here are off the hook. It's not too expensive, the delivery is fast, and the food is good for what you want. The reason it only has 4 stars is that the chicken isn't typically spicy enough for my taste. Also, I'm not a big fan of the eat-in experience here-- I don't really like the environment and it's always completely empty. The four star rating is for the delivery experience and the food.Still going to remain my go to delivery place though! Yum.

This is one of the places that deserved my being back on Yelp. This place is great and conveniently located near me. Portions are great for the price and quality, I often have enough to take home and make another meal from it. I've always gotten a fair ratio of meat to veggies in the entrees I've ordered. The rice has always been soft and just the right amount of moist, never undercooked nor too dry. The veggies in the dishes have always been perfectly stir fried it or however they do it back there in the kitchen. Nice and crisp, but piping hot and tender. I am partial to their prawn/shrimp dishes, they do them very well. Their hot and sour soup has tons of sea and land veggies, tofu, egg? and has a good flavor, nothing fighting too much to overpower anything else, rather balanced. The seaweed tastes great.Takeout is always fast, hot.I haven't experienced their delivery as I live so close. When I order takeout they invite me to sit. They don't offer tea or soup unless you eat in because takeout doesn't take that long! They are very fast. When eating in you are brought tea and soup. The tea is nice and feels very relaxing, but maybe that's just the atmosphere. Although sometimes the teenagers or younger adults that work their are loud, they are just talking and laughing amongst themselves, and seem to be happy....I don't mind chatter while I'm eating. They've forgotten to bring water a few times but when I went to the counter and asked it was no problem at all for the girl to give me two glasses. She was very nice.I love this place.

Let me be clear this place was not "seedy" or "disgusting" it was clean...the décor is dated, and the service is meh. (Actually on second thought....not horrible but not 5 star dinning either)Given how many orders I saw picked up/ carried out, I would assume that is the money maker. Portions however were perfect, just enough to take home for an encore presentation. No cameo appearances here folks, unless you eat like a bear preparing for hibernation. (Which if that is the case .....Fine by me) Keeping it short: an appetizer and three dishes (if you count rice?) came to $40 with generous tip.Two people went in search for Chinese.... Two people left fulfilled and then some! I will likely be back most likely for carry out, however if my landlord continues to pry into my life under the guise of friendship this may become a retreat until dusk (thankfully youth isn't on her side and she has an early bed time....
