We recently moved to the richardson area. We've driven by China Express a few times. Last weekend we were at the Tom Thumb and decided to give it a try. The place was very clean. We were greated. The people were friendly and courteous. We placed our order and the server took the time to explain dishes to us and then repeated the order back to ensure we everything we wanted. When we got home we enjoyed a hot delishous meal. We will be back again and again, Its hard to find a good chinsses place, we have.

We tried China Express last night, only because all the other cheaper/better Asian delivery restaurants were closed.We wanted to do the family meal deal, but orange chicken wasn't an option on the entrees for the meal deal, but it was available separately. Mkay..I ordered through the Eat24Hours website and paid for the bill (including the tip) on my card up front. About 15 minutes later, I get a phone call saying the restaurant needs to charge me an extra $3 because of the distance from their store to my apartment.Well, that's some bullshit. When you input your address, and a list of restaurants show up as delivering to your area, I didn't realize the customer had to double check if that is actually TRUE before submitting an order. I wish I hadn't tipped up front, because I would've certainly docked it for the poor/slow/pushy service.I unhappily agree to the extra fee (on an already expensive bill for what is sure to be mediocre food) since it's already late and we're freaking hungry.About 40 minutes later, the food shows up. My sweet and sour shrimp was gross. It made me feel nauseous and it just didn't taste very good. It was really oily and not satisfying.We ordered soda cans and they showed up in styrofoam cups instead, filled to the brim with ice so I got about 3 sips of diet RC cola (yes, apprently it's still around).Not a favorite.
