This is my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant for lunch! They are extremely fast and friendly, with a great and affordable lunch menu. The lunch comes with an entree, rice (fried or steamed), soup and a spring roll or shrimp toast. Each time I have eaten here for lunch, I am seated right away, order within five minutes, and no joke, my food is in front of me in another 5 minutes. The flavors are delicious and if something comes in the food that you don't like, for example a specific vegetable, they will substitute it with something else no problem when you're ordering.I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. There's a reason they've been around for almost 30 years!!

The lunch specials are nicely priced and the staff are very nice. We place large orders for take out at work and they are always very nice and write the name of each person on the box---Which saves in wasted time when you are hungery and trying to enjoy your lunch.Being a vegetarian, I can not comment on the meat selections and taste. The menu has many veggie options for all of you that don't eat meat. I can not comment on the restaurant and service as I always just do the take out. Brown rice is an option for the lunch specials which is nice,3 star rating as it is not "over the top" but a good choice if you want some chineese food.

I am giving one star because the staff seemed friendly and my food was ready relatively quickly. I wish the food was worthwhile. It didn't taste very good and gave me an upset stomach for the rest of the night. On top of that the prices were a bit high for what I got. I would have been better off going to Safeway for their China Express.I have been here sporadically over the past few years - each time thinking it will be better. I have finally learned my lesson and will not be stopping at Best Wok again.

I can't in good conscience recommend this place. I wanted to like it. It's popular. There are always people seated in it, the staff are very nice, it looks clean, the service is fast and there aren't a plethora of Americanized Chinese places that have Cantonese style dishes in the area where we go for training classes. I even tried it twice to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Alas, both dishes were pretty vile.I ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce and there wasn't much, if any, flavor in it. The shrimp were taste-free and the sauce was just a glob of soggy vegetables, egg and lots of cornstarch to thicken it. They serve their lunch combos with two big scoops of plain white rice and a little egg roll which is also not worth mentioning. As the final day of class rolled around, I decided to give it one more shot. I ordered my co-worker's stand-by dish: cashew nut chicken. I skipped the combo route. Went straight to the entree. Lots of soggy zucchini, bell peppers, baby corn, cashews and chewy, inedible chicken pieces floating in an extremely greasy salty brown soup. I only ate about a third of it because I was starving and threw the rest away. To add insult to injury, the prices are on the high side. I paid about $10 for the a la carte chicken. The service was great, but I can't condone the quality of the food here. I'd advise giving it a miss.

This is a Bellevue tradition. I have been going here for years and it is absolutely positively one of the most A-ok places to have chinese. Although after eating there I am about as regular as I have been in a while. Maybe they deserve a 4th star for that... But then again I am the east german judge today.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Bellevue, and have been eating here for more then 10 years. It is clean, staff is friendly, service is fast, prices are reasonable and the lunch specials are a great deal. Veggies are fresh and cooked but still some crispness to them (perfect to me), One of my favorites is the chicken with pea pods and mushrooms. What more could you want?

I was hanging at a friend's house when she suggested we go have Chinese at Best Wok. I have a deep love for divey Chinese places that serve good Chow Mein, and this was definitely one of those. I don't think divey is actually the best description, because it seemed reasonably clean. My son and I split pork chow mein, and it was wonderful -- the noodles were the perfect flavor and texture with lots of nice, tender pork. They brought us some wonton strips with a plum sauce that I thought was pretty good - it reminded me of plum and apple sauce mixed. My friend ordered kung pao shrimp, which looked fabulous and all the portions were nice and big. I was thrilled when they brought out strawberry jello and our fortune cookies. I just thought the jello was such a nice bonus! We are definitely going back the next time we are in the neighborhood -- I want to try the fried rice!

I always get so excited to go here and will be going here for many years to come! This is a MUST try restaurant. It is a very family friendly restaurant, that has a ton of returning customers, most of which have been eating there since it opened about 30 years ago or so. I love how they know my name and treat me so great every time I go! they are awesome guys too...Some of my favorite things to order there are:Kung Pao ChickenShrimp & Veggie DishesEgg Flower SoupHonestly, the above is what I usually get, but I have never gotten anything that I didn't like!THANKS! :)

I have dined here since it opened in 1984. I think it is the best in Bellevue. You will not find a Chinese restaurant with better service. One man here, is extremely cheerful, and helpful. Everyone wears a suit and a tie, the people at the front. They have been in business for nearly 30 years. Location and parking are great. Food is, as someone said, American style, but they are willing to adjust anything for you, such as low sodium; less spicy, etc.

Best Wok is aptly named. I stumbled on this restaurant when working in Bellevue and soon my colleagues and brothers (from Seattle!) were meeting me there regularly for lunch. I could go on about the cleanliness of the restaurant and how reasonably priced everything is, but the food and service are phenomenal! Everything is consistently noticeably more fresh than the competition. Dennis, Keith, and staff are fun and courteous. Service, even during the lunch hour is prompt. My office moved to Issaquah but I still make it a point to visit Best Wok when I can. If you're in the area give the chicken and shrimp lunch combo a taste!?

A Truly Delightful Dining Experience We love trying new places to eat at and on average our experiences have been mediocre so we were very delighted when my wife and I took a dear friend of ours out to eat at a restaurant located on the east side of Bellevue called the Best Wok. We all wondered if the restaurant was going to live up to its name. It Did! The Best Wok is a small restaurant, modest dcor, GREAT SERVICE and OUTSTANDING FOOD! It is definitely the Best Wok we have found! Great Chinese Food ??

I ate there for the first time yesterday. I ordered Almond Fried Chicken and Hot & Sour Soup. The soup had very little flavor. The Almond Fried Chicken was 2/3 breading and 1/3 chicken. It had no flavor and was covered in an awful tasting gravy. The spring roll that was included had a strange flavor/aftertaste. The restaurant was full of blue-hairs and retirees. I am guessing they cater to those who like unseasoned bland food. Service was good, but prices were high -especially for the poor quality of their food. I will not ever go back to this place. Kung-Ho @ Loehmanns Plaza is considerably better.?

I stopped in here the day after moving to Bellevue from San Diego. The food was excellent, the staff professional, attentive and friendly, which made a great first impression to my new town. A year after frequenting several Chinese food places in the eastside, I've determined this is the best restaurant in town. A huge plus is their ample parking and easy accessibility off main and 148th. Best Wok is just the right name for this place, don't pass them by!?
