Sadly...closed.Alpharetta lost the best chinese restaurant in town this past December. Mr. Lee closed his doors due to the supermarket expansion next door. He could not relocate due to high costs and decided to retire.A gem, great food and a wonderful family run business gone. We will miss Lee Garden.

Great little lunch place. We went here with some Chinese co-workers who gave us some pointers on what to order. Most of the dishes are "American Chinese", but if you know what to ask for you can have your dishes seasoned to be less Americanized and more traditional. For a place that's far from Buford Hwy, it has a good bit of charm.

I went by for lunch today and from reading other reviews before I left, I was intrigued by this 'other' menu they have. Sure enough, they have a menu of more traditional Chinese items. I ordered the beef stew over rice. The service: was very scattered. They were busy on a Wednesday for lunch (the place was about 80% full) and the servers, waiters, etc... (which consisted of only 3 people) were running around almost frantically. They did a decent job, but fell behind. The food took a long time to get and I felt a little neglected at times, but they did apologize several times. It did take just at a full hour for me to eat alone at lunch time (and I eat pretty quickly). The food: it wasn't what I expected, but was tasty. It was a plate of rice covered with their beef stew, which consisted of beef, large chunks of tomatoes, large green onions, mushrooms and eggs (note: the eggs were 'egg drop soup' style'). The taste was good. The other items were good: wonton soup and chicken wing.I arrived at 3 stars because the food was good, but service a bit lacking.Still, though, I'd go back!

Just like the Yelp's Rating caption for 2 stars - Meh. I've experienced better.I generally use General Tso's Chicken as a good judgement of these smaller chinese restaurants to see how it is. I work around this area so I decided to give it a try.Egg Drop soup tasted like all the other egg drop soups I've had so that was okay. What really got me was the amount of "breadedness" of the General Tso chicken. I think out of all the pieces I've had, I maybe had 10% chicken... There were some big pieces which I happily bit into thinking it would be a big chicken piece. Nope. 95% of it was all batter. I quickly realized there wasn't much chicken at all and I was just eating flavored, fried, batter.I give it a 2 star since egg drop was fine and judging by the other tables' food, it looked okay... but then again, my general tso looked good until I took a bite.Probably won't be coming back. Sorry!

I go there about once a week. It's pretty much run of the mill Chinese food, but I don't remember ever having anything that I didn't like. The service is good, and the prices are reasonable. The beef noodle soup is great (you won't find that at most restaurants).

I've eaten Chinese food in a number of big cities known for their Asian communities and cuisine, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington, DC, New York City and Chicago. After 15 years in Atlanta, I think we've finally found a casual Chinese place that can hold it's own against those I've tried other places. My wife and I were there for lunch and as suggested by another Yelper, we had the lunch special (Chicken with Asparagus) and also tried an old standby, Kung Pao Chicken. As with most Chinese lunches, it came with soup, egg roll, chicken wing and fried rice.Everything was delicious. The Hot and Sour Soup was exceptionally beefy. The egg roll was simple, but crispy and fresh. The fried rice wasn't greasy as so many are. Even the chicken wing was crispy and perfectly cooked. As for the entrees ... exceptional. The Kung Pao Chicken was spicy without being overwhelming and had lots of chicken and peanuts. But the real stand out was the Chicken with Asparagus. Cooked to perfection, the truly remarkable aspect of it was that it was a non-spicy dish that delivered exceptional flavors. We've often found mild Chinese dishes to be bland, this was far from it. It was subtle, rich and had a great depth of flavors. In fact, it was so good, we ordered another to take home for dinner.Go to Lee Garden, you'll love it. Everything is made to order, fresh, delicious and oh by the way, great service and prices too.
